Principal Dentist - Dr Mahmoud Samaha (GDC Reg.276804)
Dr. Samaha is the Principal Dentist and Clinical Director of Dene Dental Practice, established in 2025 with a singular vision: to deliver an elevated standard of dentistry that seamlessly blends advanced surgical expertise, cutting-edge digital technology, and an uncompromising commitment to patient-centred care.
Having qualified with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery in 2002, Dr. Samaha has spent over two decades cultivating a reputation for excellence in complex dentistry, oral surgery, and comprehensive smile rehabilitation. This foundation was further strengthened by the completion of a Master’s Degree in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery in 2010, followed by specialist registration with the Egyptian Dental Council in 2011.
In pursuit of the highest international standards, Dr. Samaha achieved certification from the German Board of Oral Implantology in 2015, cementing their expertise in advanced implantology and surgical reconstruction. Their career includes extensive clinical experience across Central London and Surrey, where they have successfully placed thousands of dental implants and delivered hundreds of Invisalign treatments, often managing highly complex and multidisciplinary cases.
General Dentist - Dr Vik Shah (GDC Reg.61898)
Vik Shah has over 35 years experience in providing high-quality dental care. Recently, he relinquished his responsibilities as an owner and now continues to provide the same quality of dentistry as an associate.
We qualified in 1986 and after a brief period of working as an associate he bought his first Practice in 1991. He advanced his knowledge by completing a year long restorative course at The world renowned Eastman Dental Hospital in 1994. In 1996 having realised that it was getting increasingly difficult to provide ethical good,quality dentistry under the NHS contract, he converted his entire NHS patient base to private.
Vik attends a local gym almost daily and has keen interest in yoga, cooking and spirituality.
Dental Hygienist/Therapist - Mona Alfarra (GDC Reg.288432)
Mona Alfarra originally trained as a dentist in Egypt with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS), became fully registered with the General Dental Council (GDC) as a Dental Hygienist and Therapist through the DCP panel assessment route. She offers a comprehensive approach to oral healthcare, combining preventive, restorative, and patient-centered treatments. Known for her gentle and empathetic manner, Mona is particularly skilled at supporting anxious patients, ensuring they feel informed, comfortable, and involved in their care. She has experience across diverse clinical settings and consistently delivers high-quality care aligned with current clinical standards.
Mona is committed to ongoing professional development and patient education, empowering individuals with practical oral hygiene advice and home-care routines to maintain long-term dental health.
Outside of dentistry, Mona enjoys gardening, cooking, and spending quality time with her family.
Dental Nurse - Melina Mousavi
Melina is one of our experienced Dental Nurses at Dene Dental, with over three years of experience supporting a wide range of dental procedures. She works closely with our dentists to provide attentive chairside support, ensuring each appointment runs smoothly and comfortably.
Melina plays a key role in maintaining the highest standards of infection control and clinical organisation, helping to create a safe and professional environment for our patients. Known for her calm, caring manner and excellent attention to detail, she takes pride in delivering high-quality patient care and helping every patient feel relaxed, supported, and well looked after throughout their visit.
Practice Manager - Andreea Moraru (GDC 307746)
Andreea Moraru is an accomplished Practice Manager with extensive experience in the dental field, combining strong clinical knowledge with a genuine passion for patient care. After qualifying as a Dental Nurse, she developed a deep understanding of the clinical environment, particularly in oral surgery and implant procedures, where precision, teamwork, and patient reassurance are essential.
With a comprehensive understanding of both what happens inside the surgery and the operational structure behind the scenes, Andreea ensures that every element of the practice runs seamlessly. Her insight allows her to oversee the full patient journey with exceptional attention to detail and consistency of care.
For Andreea and her team, patients are always the top priority. She is particularly passionate about supporting those who experience dental anxiety, believing that exceptional dentistry is built not only on clinical excellence, but also on trust, empathy, and clear communication. She is committed to creating a calm, welcoming environment where every patient feels valued, understood, and confident in their care.

Receptionist - Francesca Gheorghe
Francesca is one of the friendly faces you’ll be welcomed by as soon as you arrive at the practice. As a dental receptionist, she helps patients with booking and managing appointments, answering any questions, and making sure everything runs smoothly throughout the day. Francesca understands that visiting the dentist can sometimes feel a little daunting, so she always takes the time to put patients at ease and create a calm, relaxed, and welcoming atmosphere.
Known for her friendly manner and organised approach, Francesca enjoys getting to know patients and making sure they feel comfortable, supported, and well looked after from the moment they walk through the door until their visit is complete.
